Suggested Uses: Encourage expression: 3 drops myrrh, 1 drop vetiver, 5 drops bergamot in a lamp ring diffuser. Skin mist: 8 drops myrrh, 1 drops carrot seed, 9 drops neroli, 1 oz. water in a mister.

Myrrh is a thorny shrub, native to the arid climates of Somalia and Arabia, with papery bark is cracked or cut deliberately. Myrrh is a soluble in water and has been used as a tonic for the teeth and gums since the time of Hypocrites (469 – 399 BCE), the father of Western medicine. Like frankincense, myrrh is prized for wound healing, and was used by the ancient Egyptians for embalming.
