Gum Disease

Gum Disease raises the risk of pancreatic cancer, even after factoring out smoking, diabetes and obesity.  A Harvard University study found that men with a history of diseased gums had a 63% higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer vs. those without.  Pancreatic cancer is the forth-leading cause of death from cancer in the U.S.
