Fruits and Vegetables aren’t Being Consumed enough by Americans
Americans aren’t eating enough fruits and vegetables, the CDC said. Its survey of over 300,000 adults found only 27% ate the recommended 3 servings of vegetables a day and only 33% consumed the recommended 2 servings of fruits a day. That’s “well below” the goal of getting 75% of Americans by 2010 to eat a healthy diet, the CDC said.
