Eternal Youth Laws
Dietary wellness is the foundation for having a healthier, happier, more youthful life, and actually reversing aging and disease. Do you really care enough about yourself to gain optimum health? Staying young for life is a choice.
Obey the following rules to stay well, to keep your immune system functioning properly, to prevent disease, and to add life to your years and years to your life:
- Be aware that maintaining a healthy diet must be a lifelong endeavor. - Chew your food well. Digestion starts in the mouth. - Avoid ice-cold beverages. Do not drink beverages with meals. - Do not eat heavy foods upon rising or before retiring. - Eat only when you are very hungry, then just until you are no longer hungry. - Do not consume saturated fats. - Consume a diet consisting of 50 percent raw foods - purchase organic foods when possible. - Avoid precooked and processed foods. These processes destroy the natural enzymes and nutrients in food.
- Consuming precooked and processed foods overworks the organs. - Steam, broil, or bake foods, and cook vegetables very lightly – they should still be crunchy. - Omit from your diet white flour, white sugar, white rice, and iodized tables salt. Eat organic. - Cleanse your system periodically by fasting with pure, fresh juices. - Consume foods free of toxic insecticides, chemicals, preservatives, and additives. - Avoid tobacco, caffeine, drugs, stress, and excessive consumption of alcohol. - Take a quality multivitamin and mineral supplement daily. - Drink six to eight glasses of quality water daily. - Exercise daily. Include walking, stretching, and enjoying fresh air and sunshine. - Keep active both mentally and physically, and get plenty of rest. - Maintain a positive state of mind and be grateful for who and where you are. - Actively nourish your spiritual side, through prayer, meditation, or whatever practice is meaningful to you. Be thankful for everything. - Do not expect the impossible. Set realistic goals and achieve them.
