FDA is recommending that healthcare providers take safety steps when using the COLLEAGUE Volumetric Infusion Pump manufactured by Baxter Healthcare Corporation. The COLLEAGUE pump has exhibited problems that include under-infusion, battery failures, false alarms and failure to alarm.
