Coriander Seed (Berry and Seed Oil) Coriandrum Sarivum
Plant profile: The coriander plant is a highly aromatic herb with deliciously flavored dark green leaves (cilantro). It is easy to grow and makes a pungent addition to salad greens and a wonderful garnish for Indian dishes. The coriander plant produces umbels – umbrella-like stalks topped with little white flowers that eventually turn to brownish-colored aromatic seeds. These are distilled to produce the essential oil in Eastern European countries, including Russia and Croatia.
