Petitgrain (orange leaf) (Leaf Oil)
Plant Profile: petitgrain(orange leaf) essential oil is one of three essential oils produced by the bitter orange tree. The leaves of the orange tree contain tiny sacs of essential oil, which are visible (like grains) to the naked eye when a leaf is heald up to the sun – the French name of the oil means “little grain.” The oil is an original ingredient of eau de cologne, popular since the eighteenth century. Most petitgrain oil comes from France or Paraguay.

Safety information: no issues with petitgrain(orange leaf) essential oil. (Unlike orange, this oil is not phototoxic.)
